About Us
Established in 1974 by Bhimjibhai Kalathiya, Gopinathji Impex has emerged as a prominent player in the diamond industry. Bhimjibhai, a visionary entrepreneur, ventured into Surat (Gujarat) from Saurashtra and embarked on his journey of diamond grinding. With unwavering dedication and meticulous manual art, he laid the base of his own factory in 1976, a mere two years after commencing his diamond grinding endeavors. Building on his initial success, Bhimjibhai ventured into the resale of rough diamonds and purchase of finished diamonds from 1980 to 1984. It was during this time that he made a significant shift towards manufacturing fancy diamonds. Recognizing the growing demand for exquisite and unique diamond cuts, Bhimjibhai became a pioneer in producing fancy diamonds, a feat that established him as a leader in revenue and trillion diamond production from 1984 to 2010.
In 2011, Tusharbhai Kalathiya, Bhimjibhai's son, joined the family business, marking a new era for Gopinathji Impex. Tusharbhai's arrival infused fresh energy and innovation into the company's operations. With his visionary mindset, he expanded the company's product range to include a diverse selection of fancy shapes such as Pear, Marquise, Oval, and many more. Under Tusharbhai leadership, Gopinathji Impex has become a one-stop destination for all types of fancy diamonds. As of 2020, Gopinathji Impex boasts an impressive 46 years of experience in the diamond industry. The company's steadfast commitment to quality, precision, and customer satisfaction has earned it a sterling reputation within the industry. In 2006, Gopinathji Impex was officially registered as a partnership firm, solidifying its position as a trusted and reliable partner for clients worldwide. With a rich heritage spanning over four decades, Gopinathji Impex continues to shape the diamond industry landscape. The company's unwavering dedication to excellence, combined with its ability to adapt to evolving market trends, has propelled it to the forefront of the industry. We have our manufacturing unit at Surat, Gujarat. About more than 400 skilled employees are continuously involved in manufacturing process. Skilled labours, innovation and excellence in craftsmanship are always worshipped. Hardwork and supporting teamwork has helped in expanding the business internationally. A company started its journey since 1984(formely GOPINATHJI IMPEX) started its journey with small scale manufacturing of Rosecut and Trilliant diamonds. Further with the hardwork and team support the company started expanding the business with every sunrise. Till date GOPINATHJI IMPEX has reached to bulk manufacturing of more than 30 fancy shapes loose and pairs diamonds which includes pears, marquise, ovals, rose cut, trilliant, hearts, trapezoid, Cadillac, half moon and further on staircase of expanding the business more globally.
